With the largest total loan portfolio among all U.S. banks, Wells Fargo manages more mortgages, commercial real estate (CRE) loans and retail loans than any other bank in the U.S. While Bank of America leads in terms of outstanding commercial & industrial (C&I) loans, Citigroup has the largest card balances thanks to its strong card business globally.
