What?

Chipotle’s (NYSE:CMG) Average Revenue Per Restaurant remained roughly flat at about $2.2 million between 2019 and 2020. However, we expect the metric to rise to almost $2.6 million in 2021 and to over $2.8 million in 2022.

Why?

We expect growth to be driven by continued strength in Chipotle’s digital sales as well as the re-opening of the economy following the Covid-19 lockdowns.

So What?

However, we think the projected growth is more than priced into CMG stock. We value Chipotle stock at about $1800 per share, about 7% below the current market price.
