Constant Contact (NASDAQ:CTCT) has announced a new partnership with DIDMO, the creator of Magmito, a cross-platform mobile app creation tool. The new partnership will allow Constant Contact’s customers to easily create their own mobile apps on multiple supported platforms and use them to promote their offerings using Constant Contact’s mobile marketing tools. After creating their own promotional mobile apps with DIDMO’s tools, users can integrate it with their marketing campaign from Constant Contact with features like QR codes that can be scanned by recipients with their smartphones. ((Constant Contact takes on mobile marketing to an entirely new degree, QRCodePress))

Constant Contact now has a customer base of over 500,000 small businesses. It was initially focused on content marketing – primarily email marketing, event marketing and online survey tools. It recently ventured into social media marketing as well as mobile marketing, with acquisitions like CardStar. It competes with Salesforce.com‘s (NASDAQ:CRM) Radian6 Social Marketing Cloud as well as digital marketing tools by Adobe (NASDAQ:ADBE) and other companies like Eventbrite, iContact and Surveymonkey.

The new mobile marketing offering is a part of Constant Contact’s content marketing business, which accounts for more than 80% of its Trefis price estimate. Our $27 Trefis price estimate for Constant Contact stands nearly 10% below its current market price.
