Rocket Companies (RKT) stock rose 7.4% on Friday, October 30, 2026, while the S&P 500 fell 1.8%. The gain came the day after Rocket reported its third-quarter results on October 29. What Did Rocket Report For The Third Quarter?

Rocket earned $0.15 of adjusted earnings per share in the quarter, compared with the analysts’ consensus estimate of about $0.14. Adjusted revenue was $2.57 billion against an estimate of about $2.58 billion. Management said the result came in near the midpoint of its own guidance.

Management called the third quarter a tough one for the mortgage industry, as the 30-year fixed rate climbed from 6.4% to 7.3%. Even so, management said Rocket gained market share in both home purchase and refinance loans. Home equity loans stood out with record volume, and the adjusted EBITDA margin, a profit measure the company uses, widened to 29%.

Management expects the fourth quarter to be smaller. The company sees the refinance market falling by almost half from the third quarter, and it guided fourth-quarter adjusted revenue to $2.1 billion to $2.3 billion.

Rocket Rose As Most Of Its Peers Fell

The financial sector fund XLF lost 0.8% on Friday. News reports said U.S. stocks slid that day after disappointing earnings reports from Amazon and Intel.

UWM was the only one of the five companies on Rocket’s peer list that rose. The other four fell, including SoFi Technologies, down 4.8%.

Where Does Rocket Stock Stand After The Rise?

Over the prior 365 days, Rocket stock has had 8 sessions with a gain at least this large. The most recent of them came on June 24, 2026, when the shares rose 9.4%.

Friday’s gain left the stock well short of where it was a year ago. Rocket lost 21.2% over the twelve months to October 30, against an 11.3% gain for the S&P 500. Its $12.80 close sits far below the 52-week closing high of $23.44 on January 15, 2026. Since May 1 the shares have lost 12.6%, even with an 11.2% gain in October. That month also brought the stock’s 52-week closing low of $10.53 on October 14.

In its next report, the measure to watch is Rocket’s fourth-quarter adjusted revenue against the guidance management gave on its October 29 call.
