The chances of a 30% jump for Accenture (ACN) stock depend mostly on whether the company keeps growing its revenue. Shares returned 50.3% between August 5 and November 3, 2026, while the S&P 500 lost 1.7%. Even after that run, a Trefis three-year scenario built on the company’s own figures models an upside of 39%. How much of that gain would come from Accenture’s own business, and how much from a higher P/E?

Most Of Accenture’s Upside Comes From Selling More

In the scenario, 70.9% of the gain comes from higher revenue and 31.6% comes from a higher P/E, while a slightly lower net margin takes back 2.4%. The table below sets Accenture’s figures for the twelve months to August 2026 beside the scenario’s figures three years on.

Today In three years (scenario)
Revenue $74.2 billion $93.7 billion
Net margin 11.3% 11.2%
Earnings $8.37 billion $10.5 billion
P/E 18.3 20.3
Share price $254.56 $353.85

Most of the upside would come from Accenture selling more consulting and managed services work, not from investors paying more for each dollar of its profit.

Accenture trades at 18.3 times its trailing earnings, placing it below its average of 23.3 across its last 12 fiscal quarter-end readings. The scenario assumes a P/E of 20.3 in year three, meaning today’s multiple moves 40% of the way back toward that average.

What Does Accenture Have To Keep Winning?

Accenture has to keep winning managed services work, which covers clients’ applications, infrastructure and operations. Management said on the October 1, 2026 call that sales of managed services grew 8% in U.S. dollars in fiscal 2026, compared with 5% for consulting. Clients booked $84.5 billion of new work over the year, equal to 1.1 times that year’s revenue. More than 400 clients started their first advanced AI work with Accenture in fiscal 2026.

Revenue grows 8.1% a year in the scenario, a quarter faster than the 6.5% growth in U.S. dollars Accenture reported for fiscal 2026. Management expects fiscal 2027 revenue to grow 3% to 6% in local currency. The scenario is the more optimistic of the two, holding its pace for three years while the guide covers one fiscal year. Of the 5% growth in local currency during fiscal 2026, management said about 3% was organic. Management also said pricing was stable over fiscal 2026, but lower in many areas of the business during the fourth quarter.

How Does Accenture’s Upside Change In Different Scenarios?

In each row below, one assumption changes while the other two stay the same as in the scenario.

If instead Upside
Nothing changes (the scenario) 39.0%
Revenue growth of 6.1% a year instead of 8.1% 31.4%
Net margin of 11.0% in year three instead of 11.2% 36.4%
P/E of 18.3 in year three instead of 20.3 25.3%
5 years at the same assumptions instead of 3 62.4%

The upside stays above zero in every row, and the lower net margin row gives up the least. Accenture’s net margin was 11.3% over the twelve months to August 2026, sitting above its 11.0% average for the twelve-month periods ending at each quarter end from August 2023 to May 2026.

Taking each assumption on its own, revenue could shrink 3.1% a year, against 6.5% growth in fiscal 2026, before the share price ends three years no higher than today, not counting dividends. The net margin could fall to 8.0%, from 11.3% over the latest twelve months, with the same result. The P/E could also fall to 14.6 from 18.3 today with the same outcome.

Most of the scenario’s gain comes from sales, making Accenture’s revenue growth for the first quarter of fiscal 2027 the measure to watch. The company is expected to report it in December 2026.
