On April 7th, L Brands released its monthly performance for March 2016. Along with this, the company has announced some important strategic restructurings for its Victoria’s Secret business. The business will be functioning as 3 units namely Victoria’s Secret Lingerie, PINK, and Victoria’s Secret Beauty. The VS direct business will be integrated as a digital channel with the first two units. Henceforth, the company will mainly focus on its core merchandize and finally, it will streamline operations that will involve the layoff of 200 employees in the New York and Columbus offices.
