Coca-Cola’s First Forecast For 2027

Coca-Cola is expected to report its fiscal Q4 2026 results in February 2027. Management said that is when it expects to give guidance for 2027, and said it is too early to give specifics before then. The forecast matters because of how Coca-Cola plans its growth. Management aims for 2 to 3 points of revenue growth from selling more drinks, along with 2 to 3 points from price and mix. In the third quarter, price and mix added only one point. Price increases added four points, but a less favorable mix of countries and categories took most of that back. Management said it is looking closely at pricing for 2027, with inflation one factor among several. The organic revenue growth Coca-Cola guides for 2027 is the figure to watch in February 2027.

A Shorter Fourth Quarter

Coca-Cola’s fiscal Q4 2026 has six fewer days than a year earlier, and management now expects slight destocking in the quarter. The full-year guide for organic revenue growth of at least 5% already includes both the missing days and the destocking. In the third quarter, concentrate sales ran two points ahead of unit case volume, the drinks actually sold, because of the timing of concentrate shipments. For the full year, though, management expects shipments to run slightly behind volumes. Concentrate sales against unit case volume is the measure to watch in the fiscal Q4 2026 report, due in February 2027.

Selling Coca-Cola Beverages Africa

Coca-Cola’s 2026 guidance assumes the pending sale of Coca-Cola Beverages Africa closes during fiscal Q4 2026, subject to regulatory approvals. Management expects the sale to cut comparable net revenues by four points and comparable earnings per share by three points in that quarter, with slight benefits to margins. Coca-Cola has seen this before. Management said last year’s sale of its finished product operations in Nigeria added to its margin gains in the third quarter. Regulatory approval, and whether the deal closes within fiscal Q4 2026, is the thing to watch. Coca-Cola is also waiting on a court decision in its tax dispute with the IRS, which management said on the October 27 call it expects in the coming months.

Could You Hold Coca-Cola Through Its Worst Drop Again?

Coca-Cola stock has not risen in a straight line. Its largest fall over the past year took 8.5% off the share price between February 27 and April 22, 2026. If a repeat of that drop would not make you sell, the position is one you could carry through the February 2027 report. If it would, a smaller position fits these dates better.
