In recent years, a trend towards American Eagle Outfitters‘ (NYSE:AEO) Aerie brand, which is the company’s lingerie and activewear segment, can be seen. This segment has been performing exceptionally for the company for the past several quarters. During FY 2015, year ended January 2016, the company’s comparable sales increased 7%, with its Aerie brand shooting up 20%. AEO Brand men’s comparable sales increased in the low-single digits, while the women’s comparable sales grew at a high single digit rate.
