Wynn Resorts (NYSE:WYNN) Macau Mass Market Table Drop – which refers to the total amount of money wagered on table games in the mass market – declined from $10.5 billion in 2019 to $2.6 billion in 2020. Trefis expects the metric to recover to about $7.9 billion in 2021 while rising to around $9.9 billion in 2022.
While the number fell sharply in 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic, it is seeing a rebound in 2021 as vaccination rates improve and as travel restrictions are eased. We expect growth in the longer term to be driven by the expanding Macau gaming market.
We think Wynn stock remains undervalued. We value Wynn at about $134 per share, about 42% ahead of the current market price.
