Hewlett-Packard Incorporated (NYSE:HPQ) is set to announce its fiscal Q1 results on Thursday, February 22. While we expect the company to report an improvement in PC revenues as it continues to outperform the declining PC hardware industry, printer hardware and supplies revenues are also likely to improve as HP’s supply chain strategy yields positive results. We have created an interactive dashboard that illustrates our Q1 expectation for HP. You can modify the revenues from each business segment and net income margin expectations to see how the company’s earnings would be affected in Q1 2018.

In Q1, We expect:

  • New hardware launches coupled with the holiday season will boost shipments and revenues for the computing hardware vertical. Further, ASPs for PCs are set to grow in Q1, driven by both mix and pricing.
  • Supply chain strategy should boost printer supplies revenues, while improving printer hardware demand will boost printer hardware revenues in Q1.

At present, our $18 price estimate for HPQ is below the current market price.
