Forecast Of The Day: Ford Vehicles Sold in International Markets
What?
Ford (NYSE:F) Vehicles Sold in International Markets Group declined from around 401k vehicles in 2019 to about 284k in 2020, although it recovered to about 370k in 2021. Trefis expects the metric to grow to over 390k by 2023. The International Markets Group primarily includes the sale of Ford and Lincoln vehicles, service parts, and accessories in the Middle East and Africa.
Why?
While sales have been impacted over the last two years by the disruption caused by Covid-19 and the semiconductor shortage, we expect sales to recover in the coming years as the pandemic recedes and component supply improves.
So What?
We think the projected recovery in revenues is priced into Ford stock. We value Ford at about $17 per share, roughly in line with the current market price.
