Hasbro (NASDAQ: HAS), a global play and entertainment company which primarily produces toys and board games, saw its stock decline by about 20% over the last week. The sell-off came after the company published weaker than expected Q3 results, with EPS falling significantly below analysts estimates ($1.84 per share versus consensus of ~$2.20) Hasbro has also been facing the heat from the trade war between China and the U.S., as the company carries out about 67% of sourcing from China. While some of the company’s games face a 25% tariff currently, most of its other products could face a 15% tariff starting from mid-December, and the uncertainty relating to this is hurting the stock. Below, we take a look at how Hasbro has fared in recent years and what the outlook could be like.
