What?

AMD’s (NASDAQ:AMD) Enterprise, Embedded, and Semi-Custom Revenue rose from $2 billion in 2019 to about $3.33 billion in 2020. Trefis expects the metric to rise to about $5.3 billion in 2021 and $6.9 billion.

This segment includes revenue from the sale of embedded processors, semi-custom System-on-Chip (SoC) products, development services, and technology for game consoles, and server microprocessors.

Why?

Growth is being driven by the revival in AMD’s data center business and strong demand from the console market.

So What?

However, we think the projected growth is priced into AMD stock. We value AMD at about $100 per share, slightly below the current market price.
