AMD’s stock fell on Thursday despite the company posting some impressive growth both in terms of revenue and operating income in the third quarter. This growth was driven by the continued success of its new Ryzen processors, but investors were not thrilled as the company lowered its Q4 outlook. We believe that the stock correction was justified. Despite the fact that there is a lot going on for AMD right now, the stock remains risky and much of the positive development has been captured in the run-up in the stock since last year.
