The assessment framework highlights factors that IDC expects to be the most influential for success in the market in both the short term and the long term. Accenture is focused on developing analytics solutions based on the SAP HANA platform as the platform is becoming popular with the clients due to the speed and performance offered by in-memory computing. This rating is likely to become a boost for the already growing cloud, mobile and database solutions of Accenture.
According to the IDC Marketscape, Accenture is currently one of the leading implementers of SAP based solutions globally with a strong practice in large-scale business transformation, business process improvement, and application outsourcing. It employs nearly 36,500 SAP practitioners worldwide with delivery and support for a range of industry-specific business services.
