  • You really dont get it! Apple is going to be in a bind. With carriers like ATT and the likes stopping the subsidization of the hardware (iPhones), the cost of ownership for a regular customer has gone up significantly: at least by $400 for a 2-year usage on average. What that means is that less people will want to buy upgrades and will hold longer on their existing equipments. If I were Tim Cook or an Apple shareholder, I would be biting my nails for a company that has so much enterprise value depending on that one single business line (iPhone): I just dont understand that Apple did not apply more of its bargaining power with the ATTs and esq. to bar them from stopping hardware subsidization. I am going to seriously consider shorting Apple's stock... [ less... ]
