NASDAQ has undertaken a series of acquisitions over the last few years. According to management, NASDAQ is focused on making strategic acquisitions that meet strict financial criteria.

For example, the acquisition of Dorsey Wright helped NASDAQ register a growth rate of 8% in its information service segment in 2015.
