Microsoft Earnings: Revenue And EPS Beat Expectation As Cloud Services Gain Traction

Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT) reported its Q4 2016 results on July 19th. (Fiscal years end with June.)  Microsoft’s commercial cloud revenue (Office 365, Azure, Dynamics Online, and other Cloud offerings) annual run rate surpassed $12 billion mark. As a result, the company reported 2% growth (5% in constant currency) in non-GAAP revenue to $22.6 billion and 11% growth (27% in CC) in non-GAAP EPS to $0.69. However,  the GAAP revenue declined by 7% due to deferral of revenue recognition from Windows 10. A brief summary of result is as follows:
