Leading PC processor manufacturer, Intel (NASDAQ:INTC) is set to release its Q1 2016 earnings report on April 19th. Despite a sharp decline in PC sales, Intel reported only a marginal year-on-year decrease (~1%) in its 2015 revenue, as the significant decline in PC revenue was offset by strong growth in its Data Center, Internet-of-Things (IoT) and Memory segments. The company’s Q1 2016 guidance is at the low-end of the average seasonal range, as the company remains cautious on the level of economic growth, particularly in China. Nevertheless, Intel is confident of seeing solid growth in 2016, as the company evolves its business by lowering its dependence on PCs and increasing its focus on data center, IoT and memory.
