IntercontinentalExchange saw an impressive 19% year on year (y-o-y) growth in daily cash equity trading volumes in June. Moreover, ICE’s market share of cash equities increased 40 basis point in June’16, in contrast to the previous quarter’s figures. However, a 12% y-o-y decline in average rates per contract is likely to partially offset the revenue gains from increased trading volume and market share.
