Alphabet (NASDAQ:GOOG, GOOGL), the parent company of Google, gets over 99% of its revenues from online ad revenues. However, the rest of the world (ROW) contributes nearly 55% to its revenues. With over 3 billion internet users, ROW has an internet penetration of over 46%. The table below estimates the revenue advertiser are paying Google for each internet user. According to our estimates, the revenue per internet user has declined only very marginally (by 0.5%) in 2015 as internet penetration improved for the underserved regions such as Africa, Latin America in the world:
