GM’s sales in China fell by 9% in February (year-over-year comparison) due to the Chinese New Year. However, combined January and February sales paint a different picture. The Chinese New Year is a lunar phenomena, shifting between January and February, resulting in volatility in sales in these two months. Hence, it is better to combine sales for both months to get a better picture.
