In keeping with the trend seen overall this year so far, TD Ameritrade (NASDAQ:AMTD) saw growth in most of its key monthly metrics in July. While the company saw a 4% year on year (y-o-y) increase in its assets under management, its daily average revenue trades remained neutral. Further, interest earning assets (+10% y-o-y) continued to grow, likely driven in part by the continued impact of the Fed’s last interest rate hike in December 2015.

Going forward, we expect the next probable hike (by early 2017) in interest rates to likely propel the brokerage’s revenue from this stream.
