Ameritrade’s Key Monthly Brokerage Metrics Witness Growth In February
Ameritrade saw many of its key monthly metrics improve in February. End of period brokerage accounts were up 5% y-o-y, while the company’s daily average trades also rose 5% in the period. However, average assets under management saw a decline of almost 4% in the period. On the other hand, interest earning assets grew 13% y-o-y, attributable to the hike in interest rates implemented by the Fed at the end of 2015.
