  • As a user of Apple's high end products, I see this as beneficial to AMD,and it will likely drive some revenue increases, especially as Adobe and others optimize their graphics engines for AMD, which they have not done up to now. First impressions say that AMD is not competitive with Nvidia CUDA engine, but I assume, with this new machine's likely acceptance, that it will change. There will be a market for the new MPro, bu it won't be a big enough market to really change the fundamentals of AMD. It is a prestige move, and puts downward pressure on nVidia. [ less... ]
