  • I hate to be the bearer of bad news but this doesn't appear promising for the fate of Target Canada and although I actually look forward to Target's opening day in my current hometown (Fredericton,NB) what worries me is that "down the road" and at this rate what if the end result is Target Canada going entirely "belly up" ( if I'm using the correct expression) or partially "belly up"? What I mean by entirely is what if & God forbid the chain totally goes out of business or that some Target outlets ( including the Fredericton outlet) were to "close shop" if the head office deemed a few locations to be unprofitable. So even though it's a "bumpy ride" as they say with regards to the Target Canada chain I and some others can only hope they formulate some strategy to entice a significant amount of Canadian consumers to shop at Target because if prospects remain bleak or relatively bleak than Target Canada may be in jeopardy of having to entirely become defunct or some of the stores becoming defunct so therefore good luck to the headquarters of Target Canada. You'll be needing it!
