Example comment: Competition will squeeze AMZN's operating margins from 4% to 2% meaning a 10% hit to the stock according to Trefis.

  • I wouldn't put so much weight behind one show; especially this one. I watched the first season, and after that season finale, I will not be watching season 2. Judging by the social chatter, I'm not the only one. After a season of anticipation for answers, the finale didn't answer anything, and just set up some arbitrary cliffhangers. It's obvious the writers don't have any good ideas, so they're just gonna keep stretching the story out as long as possible. Shows like Breaking Bad are good because there are surprises throughout the season, ending in a jaw-dropping season finale, and THAT keeps you coming back for more. Dome just set up a bunch of questions, and then didn't answer any of them, hoping you'll wait 8 months for some kind of payoff. Good luck with that.

In any case, I wouldn't put all my money behind a single show. Especially when that show isn't very good. [ less... ]
