We have DirecTV, and they are in trouble. DISH has a new way of doing DVR AND full ad skipping (one click skips the whole ad). The new DVR method records ALL the main channel stuff for a week, and presents it in a simple, effective screen. You can single click back to any show on any channel for the last week. We're looking at changing to DISH, and DirecTV raising their prices is just the catalyst to make it happen...and when others find what they're missing (my kids have DISH so I got to play with it over the holidays). No DTV for me...they're falling behind and focusing on realtime on small devices. Does ANYONE watch realtime anymore? No. DVR'd.
