  • Johnson Controls are wise to be concentrating on Asia. Along with Eastern Europe and South America it represents a promising market. Their manufacturing of automotive batteries and automotive interior systems will join other automotive parts companies already there like Continental AG and Schaeffler. I noticed in a press release from Schaeffler that they have tripled their investments in their 14 Asian factories and around a fifth of their revenue is created in Asia. With lower wages and overheads than in Europe it looks very bleak for European workforces. [ less... ]
