The head of the Nasdaq who was responsible for computerizing the exchange discovered that when he offered a steady even 10% return in any kind of market. That the funds came in so fast that he could not invest them fast enough. Unfortunately he let it keep coming in, and is now doing a ten year stretch out of 150 year sentence at a country club in Pennsylvania.

Kinder knew this when he set up the partnership to give a steady and even 13% return, in an energy market that Rockefeller had shown was volatile and often unpredictable a century earlier.

North America has infrastructure needs that will require almost unlimited new capital. Kinder created KMI to capture the overflow, smooth out the surges which threaten to destroy the stable payout that makes the acquisition attractive.

    Marvin,

Why the downward momentum with great company ?
    Sumflow commented 2 years ago
The appearance of the downward momentum is due to taking a short-term view, to a long-term stock. Driver error.
