I undestand that Card.io's technology is very simple and promising. A consumer can hold their credit card up to a merchant's iOS or Android phone, and it scans in the credit card information. Even if the data is encrypted, and neither Card.io nor its partner companies save card numbers, I still feel unsure how protected are my bank information. I've heard so much hacking that's happening in PayPal and Level-up... so I guess I'll pass on this one for now. I will stick with MPOS by mPowa (www.mpowa.com), i've been using it for 3 weeks now and I'm happy I switched from Square to this.
