  • Trefis is probably still starting on this company, but their revenues come mostly from custom app development and micropurchases on mobile devices from their library of apps. They have that Honey Badger app! Pretty fun, really popular. Not quite an Angry Birds but still very popular for a company that's about two years old, lots of other ones: Note to God, Doodle Chat, Boxhead.

I have seen their recommendations on my iPhone, but they don't really seem that intrusive. It'll be a little pop-up about something that makes sense, like I might like this help guide or whatever. Simple stuff. Easy-to-use company, I think what they're doing makes sense. From what I'm reading they're only on iPhone and Android at the moment, they'll need to get over to Windows and Blackberry to have complete coverage. Interesting idea here if they can grow their user base. [ less... ]
