Gartner is reporting that vmforce is now dead due to Salesforce.com's acquisition of Heroku. I never got how VMW thought SFC was going to partner with them. They are clearly competitors. It remains to be seen if EMC/Cisco tie-up beats SFC's footprint. In the enterprise it's no match, VMW wins. SMB not sure. [ less... ]
