  • Apparently, you don't shop like a millennial woman. These days, plenty of women will buy apparel online, usually there's free return shipping if products don't fit. Some of us don't have the time to locate a store, find an article of clothing, try it on and purchase it. Physical stores are becoming less relevant.
    That said, Ann Taylor is similar to Banana Republic but seems a bit more honed in on a certain market segment. Personally, the only reason I shop at Gap is because it's cheap but quality isn't quite there.
    I think there's more of the pie to go around; as more women enter the workforce, there will be a larger demand for professional attire. The company should grow with the market. Ann Inc is also expanding internationally. While they've closed stores during the economic downturn, they've survived, which is more than some others can say. [ less... ]
