Gone are the days when travel in India meant inbound tourists to the Taj Mahal and palaces in Rajasthan. The increasingly affluent Indian middle class is now packing its bags and heading out on international holidays. Expedia, the largest online travel portal, came to India almost two years ago but it now plans to scale up its India operations in a big way.

Netflix – Forecast of the Day
Netflix’s quarterly net subscriber additions have maintained a rapid growth pace despite the company’s already large subscriber base. Excluding Q2 2010, the company s net quarterly subscriber additions have continually grown, from about 1.7 million in Q1 2010 to about 3.6 million in Q1 2011. Interestingly, international expansion in Canada has only played a small part in the growth to date.
